Tiny Vines Nursery is a licensed Family Child Care Home in Napa, California, specializing in calm, relationship-centered care for infants and young children.
The program is intentionally small so children can spend their days in a familiar home environment, build secure relationships, and receive care that responds to their individual routines, development, temperament, and needs.

A small program created with the early years in mind
Care that feels personal, familiar, and unhurried.
Young children deserve care that gives them time to feel secure, build relationships, explore, and grow without being rushed.
Tiny Vines was created around the strengths of home-based care: familiar rooms, gentle routines, everyday experiences, and a genuinely small group. The name reflects the gradual, individual nature of early growth. Children do not all grow in the same direction or on the same timeline; my role is to provide a secure foundation, thoughtful support, and room to explore.

Tiny Vines Nursery provides calm, nurturing care in a small, home-based setting where young children are known well, supported through gentle routines, and given time and space to explore at their own pace.
Care is relationship-centered, responsive to each child’s development and needs, and grounded in trust, emotional safety, curiosity, and connection.
Our Philosophy
The foundations come first
Young children learn best when they feel safe, connected, and understood.
Care at Tiny Vines is guided by secure relationships, respectful observation, child-led play, predictable rhythms, supportive guidance, and sensory awareness.
I draw from respectful infant care, developmentally appropriate practice, play-based learning, and selected Montessori-inspired ideas without following any one method as a rigid formula. Small by Design
Individual care is easier when the group truly is small.
Tiny Vines is intentionally operated as a very small home daycare. A smaller group makes it easier to notice changes, respond to individual needs, and create a familiar, steady experience rather than recreating a large child care center in a smaller space.
Children spend their days in familiar rooms with fewer transitions and care that can adapt to the group actually present.

Warm and familiar does not mean informal when it comes to safety.
Tiny Vines Nursery is a licensed California Family Child Care Home in Napa, LIC #283010807.
The program operates under California Family Child Care licensing requirements for supervision, capacity and ratios, health and safety, emergency preparedness, recordkeeping, and the physical child care environment.
Licensed & Regulated
Tiny Vines operates under California Family Child Care licensing requirements, maintains required records, clearances, and facility standards, and is subject to routine licensing oversight and inspections.

Health & Safety
Structured illness, sanitation, medication, safe sleep, and health procedures help protect children while maintaining a warm home environment. Licensed child care providers are also mandated reporters, with a legal responsibility to report suspected child abuse or neglect.
Supervision & Ratios
Enrollment and daily attendance stay within licensing capacity and age-ratio requirements.
Tiny Vines is licensed for up to 6 children in care, with no more than 3 children under age 2, supporting appropriate supervision throughout the day.
Preparedness
Required safety training, emergency procedures, records, and certifications are maintained as part of operating a licensed California Family Child Care Home.
