Yes. You can complete the required enrollment steps without a tour. Drop-in care still depends on approval and availability. If you’d like to connect first, you can start with the interest form.

Will enrolling reserve your drop-in care spot?

Not yet. You’ll need to finish the enrollment paperwork first. After that, each requested day is still based on availability, licensing limits, program fit, and approval.

When do you pay for a drop-in booking?

Payment is due in full when you book. Your care is not held until payment is received.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance may receive a credit to your account. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

Drop-in care at Tiny Vines Nursery is designed for families who need occasional support rather than a regular weekly schedule - whether for work coverage, appointments, errands, or simply a little breathing room.

Children are welcomed into our gentle daily rhythm with extra care for transitions, especially on early visits.

Tiny Vines Nursery is a calm, home-based program focused on emotional safety, respectful routines, and developmentally appropriate care.

Because this is a small-group setting, drop-in care is offered on a limited, pre-approved basis when space is available and a requested day is a good fit for the group. Drop-in care does not secure an ongoing enrollment space, and approval for one date does not guarantee future availability.

A 2.95% processing fee applies to card payments. ACH payments through Brightwheel may be used to avoid that fee.

A 2-hour minimum applies to drop-in care.

Care types may be combined, but no child may be in care more than 23 hours per licensing regulations.

How drop-in enrollment works

Drop-in care is designed to be simple and flexible, while still making sure all required information is in place before care begins. Here’s how the process works.

Complete Drop-In Enrollment

Complete the enrollment packet

Before requesting care, complete the Drop-In Self-Enrollment Packet in Brightwheel. This includes required forms, agreements, child information, and documentation.

Paperwork review and approval

Tiny Vines reviews the packet to make sure required forms, medical information, and immunization records are complete.

Request specific dates

Once approved, use the Drop-In Care Request Form to request dates and times. Each request is reviewed individually.

Receive confirmation and pay

Approved requests receive a message and invoice. Care is reserved only after confirmation and full payment.

Eligibility Requirements

Each request is considered based on:

• Licensing capacity and age ratios

• The children already scheduled

• Group needs and compatibility

• The child’s age, care needs, and current information

• Requested hours and type of care

• Planned activities or outings

• Provider availability

• Whether the child’s needs can be safely supported

Tiny Vines Nursery may approve, decline, shorten, modify, or propose alternate times for any request.

Approval of one booking does not guarantee future approval.

Enrollment Completion Requirement

Before requesting care, drop-in families must complete and receive approval of the TVN Drop-In Enrollment Packet.

Required items may include:

Drop-in enrollment is complete only after Tiny Vines Nursery sends a Drop-In Enrollment Confirmation.

Keeping Drop-In Information Current

Families must promptly report changes involving:

• Contact information

• Authorized pickup persons

• Health, allergies, medication, or emergency needs

• Feeding or sleep needs

• Development, behavior, toileting, or supervision needs

• Custody or legal information

Tiny Vines Nursery may require an updated child-information form, periodic child update, licensing document, or other record before approving another booking.

Scheduling & Pre-Approval

All drop-in care must be requested and approved in advance through the method designated by Tiny Vines Nursery.

A request is not a booking.

Care is reserved only after:

• Tiny Vines Nursery approves the request

• A Drop-In Booking Confirmation is sent

• Required payment is completed

• Required updates, forms, or supplies are received

Unscheduled or unannounced arrivals will not be accepted.

Arrival, Supplies, and Readiness

Families must arrive with all supplies listed in the booking confirmation or current supply instructions.

Tiny Vines Nursery may decline or end care if required medication, food, bottles, diapers, clothing, sleep items, or other essential supplies are missing, unsafe, or unsuitable.

The child must arrive healthy enough to participate and must meet all illness and exclusion requirements.

Evening and Overnight Care

Evening and overnight bookings may have additional requirements involving meals, pajamas, sleep routines, bedding, medication, emergency contacts, and pickup times.

Overnight care is offered only when the child’s age, needs, sleep habits, and required supervision can be safely supported.

Tiny Vines Nursery may decline overnight care even when daytime drop-in care has been approved.

Policy Adherence

Drop-in families must follow all applicable handbook policies, signed agreements, booking instructions, arrival and departure requirements, illness rules, and safety expectations.

Policy concerns may result in:

• Modification or cancellation of a request

• Denial of future bookings

• Temporary inactive status

• Required updated documentation

• Suspension or termination of drop-in enrollment

Tiny Vines Nursery may decline any future request when care cannot be provided safely or appropriately.

Key Drop-In Policy Notes

In addition to the drop-in-specific policies above, several general Tiny Vines Nursery policies are especially important for drop-in families to review before requesting care.

Children must meet Tiny Vines Nursery’s illness and exclusion requirements to attend drop-in care. Children must be well enough to participate comfortably in normal activities and may be excluded if they are ill, require more care than can be safely provided in group care, or pose a risk of spreading illness to others.

If a child develops symptoms after a request is submitted or after a booking is confirmed, the family must contact Tiny Vines Nursery before care. If a child becomes ill during care, parents must arrange pick-up within one hour.

Drop-in families must follow the approved arrival and pickup times listed in the Drop-In Booking Confirmation. Early arrival, late pickup, or extended care is not automatically available and must be approved in advance.

For full-day drop-in care, families are generally asked to arrive by 9:30 AM unless prior arrangements have been made. If a child has not arrived by 9:30 AM and Tiny Vines Nursery has not received communication about the delay, the group may proceed with planned outings or activities, and care may not be available upon late arrival.
